Humanity 8 Charitable Organization stands out from other charities because we are committed to addressing the specific needs of individuals struggling with addictions, mental illness, and disabilities. Unlike many organizations, we aim to provide comprehensive support by not only offering financial assistance for medications and prosthetic equipment, but also actively work through the legal system to ensure substance abusers receive the necessary treatment they need to overcome their addiction. Our goal is to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need, empowering them to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.  We cannot do this alone.  We need your generosity to make positive changes in our communities.

Homelessness & Mental illness

The ways we can help the homeless is by providing blankets, non perishable foods, tents, or money towards shelter accommodations.   Our other services may include:

  • Lawful order enrollment into a drug rehabilitation program through sponsorship.

  • Advocating for subsidized rent when affordable housing is limited.

  • Free counseling for mental illness issues.

  • provide financial relief to those who cannot afford expensive mental illness medication.

  • advocate against false evictions in order to double rent.

Addictions

Over 20% of people have serious addictions to alcohol and other substances and we can change this statistic.  Our plan to help with the following services.

  • Provide a positive, safe place of encouragement with counseling.

  • provide free job search and resume courses to place them in appropriate jobs.

  • encourage employers to hire people rehabilitating themselves from street life.

Community Outreach

As part of our community outreach program we want to provide the following services and products to the people in our community who we care about.

  • educate people to remove discriminatory views against homeless people.

  • remove the stigma associated with mental illness and autism.

  • provide hygiene products to both men and women shelters.

  • provide extra masks and clothing to hospitals.

  • donate food, or cash donations to the local food banks.

  • collect toys for under privileged children during Christmas.

  • lend out free walkers, wheelchairs, canes and crutches for people who need these on a temporary basis until they recover from an accident, surgery, or illness.

  • Help provide funding for people who need prosthetic equipment that are unable to afford it and have no medical plans.
