We just made criminal checks easier!

We have teamed up with Charity Village to offer our signing up volunteers an easier alternative to speed up the process of criminal record checks. Now, when a first time volunteer fills out the volunteer registration form they will be prompted to pay for their criminal record at the end of the registration process.

This speeds up the process by processing a criminal record check within 24 hours, instead of the usual 9 days it can take to receive a criminal record online, or when visiting a police station. Charity village processes the credit check and the volunteer will receive their copy within 24 hours. This will be much more convenient for both volunteer and Humanity 8 Charitable organization, allowing the applicant to start volunteering within 24 hours without having to wait days, or sometimes weeks before being able to be involved in volunteering.

We are delighted to be offering this speedy option now to volunteers so we can start making a difference and meeting our charitable goals right away with new volunteers.
